A senior logistics delegation from Somalia was in Shandong recently, paying a visit to Luyi Vehicle Co., Ltd. (LUYI). They took a close look at the company's facilities themselves, then sat down with LUYI's team to hash out the details-and in the end, the two sides struck a deal for 3-axle fuel tanker semi-trailers. For LUYI, this means a chance to set up shop in the Somali market, and it also tightens the cooperation between China and Somalia in this area.

While they were there, the Somali delegates toured LUYI's production lines and R&D centers, and even got to test the 3-axle fuel tanker semi-trailers themselves. What stood out most to them was just how advanced the company's equipment is, and how seriously it takes quality control.

Somalia's economy has been getting better little by little, and with that, the country needs more safe, dependable gear to move fuel around. LUYI's trailers- which can be tweaked to fit local needs-are exactly what Somalia needs right now.

LUYI builds its 3-axle fuel tanker semi-trailers with high-grade materials, and they come with reliable setups and safety features. All of that makes it simpler for users to move fuel faster, and it helps them save money on day-to-day operations too.

The two sides signed a formal agreement to make it official. Under the deal, LUYI will build trailers made specifically for the Somali market. It will also take care of shipping the trailers by sea, and offer a 12-month warranty on parts. How long delivery takes will depend on how many trailers are ordered.

A representative from the Somali delegation said this cooperation will help ease the shortage of good quality fuel transport equipment in Somalia, and give the local logistics industry a much-needed lift. They also said they're looking forward to working with LUYI over the long haul, so both sides can benefit.

LUYI officials said this deal is a major step for the company as it looks to expand into Africa. They pledged to keep making their products better to fit what the Somali market needs, and to work more closely with other African partners in the future.
